Your mission
Join us in solving one of industrial robotics' toughest challenges
R3 Robotics is developing the AI-powered dismantling platform that transforms end-of-life electric vehicle systems into strategic sources of critical materials. As global electrification accelerates, the surge in batteries and e-motors requires automated solutions that manual disassembly cannot provide. We are addressing this industrial bottleneck by enabling the automated dismantling of complex systems at scale through computer vision, artificial intelligence, and specialized robotic tooling.
Following a successful €20M Series A funding round led by HG Ventures and Suma Capital, we are expanding across Europe and preparing for our entry into the United States market in 2026. We partner with major industrial recyclers and automotive OEMs to deliver measurable impact. If you seek to work on advanced robotics within a well-funded organization scaling internationally, this is your opportunity
YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Program Manager (IPM) to lead the end-to-end execution of custom and production-scale machine-building projects. This role is ideal for a technically driven leader who thrives at the intersection of engineering design, manufacturing, automation, and project delivery. The IPM will oversee all phases of machine development—concept, design, build, integration, and commissioning—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec while maintaining safety and quality standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership & Planning
- Own project execution plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for machine-building projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on technical requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Technical Execution & Risk Management
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering plans, design reviews, and specifications.
- Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM), design-for-assembly (DFA), and scalability in machine development.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination
- Manage relationships with vendors, fabricators, and integrators to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Oversee procurement planning, BOM accuracy, and cost control.
- Provide clear project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Machine Commissioning & Delivery
- Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
- Ensure machine performance meets functional and safety standards.
- Support field deployment, training, and service documentation.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead lessons-learned sessions and implement best practices in project execution.
- Drive process improvements in machine design, prototyping, and scaling.
