Circu Li-ion is driving the green revolution by prolonging the lifespan of individual battery cells through our cutting-edge automated battery disassembly lines. Our systems disassemble Li-ion battery packs into reusable Li-ion cells, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability. By upcycling these cells into second-life CO2-neutral battery packs, we're revolutionizing the way batteries are reused and recycled for a better future.

THE ROLE

As the Product Owner for BatDat, you will lead the development and growth of our flagship product, BatDat.

BatDat is a battery data intelligence platform that provides data and analyses to stakeholders in the battery value chain, including Li-ion refiners, OEMs, recyclers, cell buyers, and logistic providers. Its primary purpose is to optimize disassembly, recycling, logistics, and procurement processes. Additionally, BatDat facilitates a circular battery value chain by providing essential information on battery pack availability, health, and end-of-life processing for third parties.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and company goals
Create and maintain the product backlog containing requirements, user stories, and technical specifications
Collaborate with the development team to ensure the product vision is translated into functional software
Monitor development progress and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements
Work closely with stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure the product meets market requirements
Continuously assess competition and identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation

Your profile

Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in software development or the energy/electronics industry
Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and experience applying agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban
Technical understanding, especially in software development and/or battery technology, to effectively communicate with the development team
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate the product vision and persuade stakeholders
Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions
