Circu Li-ion is accelerating the green revolution by maximizing the lifetime of each battery cell. We design and build automated disassembly lines for battery packs. Our battery upcycling solution dismantles, divides, and sorts each cell, diagnosing them individually, to give them a second life.

THE ROLE

At Circu Li-Ion, we are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer who can support the Operations Team in our Kuppenheim facility by leading technical process improvements. The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As the company grows, they will also support the development of other facilities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Operations Continuous Improvement process at our Kuppenheim facility.
Track critical KPIs such as machine OEE and MTBF.
Testing and troubleshooting to detect and solve technical problems.
Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, diagnosis, and automation to ensure efficient disassembly processes.
Leading site facility technical improvements working alongside other Engineering teams.
Verification of disassembly and management of related tools and jigs.
Track maintenance programmes and ensure they are optimised for performance.
Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.

Your profile

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Mechanical, electrical or Production Engineering background with good understanding of other fields.
Experience of working with operational and engineering KPIs and using the data for decision making.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems to support disassembly processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of improvement methodologies (Lean, 6 sigma etc), quality control measures and procedures.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly or related field.
Technical degree or certification (such as Kfz-Mechatroniker) in a related field is required.
Certification in HV DC systems would be a big plus.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
